Non-Doms

We give specialist advice to foreign nationals who have come to live and work in the UK. Your tax status in the UK may change over time or from time to time. There are different tax rules that apply for non-doms in respect of income tax, capital gains tax and inheritance tax and the rules have been changing recently so it is important that you get advice on the most tax-efficient way to structure your financial affairs if you are a non-dom.

If any of these apply to you, then you may be non-domiciled:

  • Are you originally from outside the United Kingdom?
  • Are you returning to live in theUnited Kingdom from abroad?
  • Have you lived in theUnited Kingdom for less than 15 out of the last 20 years?

If you answer yes to any of these questions, then it is important that you take advice regarding your tax position.
